ACCT 556 - Financl Statement Analysis II
This is an advanced course in financial statement analysis with an emphasis on analyzing earnings quality for forecasting and valuation purposes.  To a large extent, this is not an accounting class.  Rather, we will be relating accounting to other dimensions of business administration such as strategy, governance or risk management.  We will also consider different methodologies used by financial analysts in investment banks.

Course Objectives:
- Perform profitability and risk analyses
- Analyze earnings quality
- Forecast financial statements using a scenario-based approach
- Make stock recommendations based on financial analysis
