ARTS 230 - Photography Studio II
An advanced digital photography class in which students learn in depth production and post production photo compositing and collage techniques to create photo composites, stitcher panoramas, linear panoramas and photo booklets. The programs covered are Photoshop to edit, color correct and collage images; and In Design to lay out and print booklets. Students can acquire images with both film and digital cameras or using a flatbed scanner. Periodic slide lectures and film screenings are held to introduce every project with examples of artworks in keeping with the subject of the proposed assignment. Students enrolled in Studio courses must devote a minimum of 4 - 6 hours per week outside of class to develop and complete assignments.
