FREN 333 - Contemporary French Canada
After a brief historical summary, this course will focus on contemporary Quebec. Novels, poetry, films, and songs will be used to study important aspects of the culture, including societal structures, politics, education, language, and immigration, as well as aboriginal and gender issues. This course fulfills the upper-division culture requirement for the French major.
