HEBR 011 - Intensive Beginning Hebrew
This course is a continuation of Hebrew oo1. Based on the skills learned in the first semester, this course continues with developing skills in the areas of reading, listening, writing, and speaking.  There will be a focus on more complex syntactic structures and the development of vocabulary. 
The purpose of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive basic knowledge of Modern Israeli Hebrew. This will be achieved through an “integrated method” emphasizing both communicative skills and the acquiring of competence in morphological and syntactical structures. 
The course teaches Hebrew in context as well as Israeli cultural context.  
A special emphasis will be placed on Hebrew conversation.
The overall important of this course is to set you on the pathway to proficiency in the Hebrew language.
