HEST 312 - Animating Jesuit Values
This seminar will examine the questions: What are Jesuit values and how have they contributed to your Georgetown education? How do you put them into action in your personal life? And, how will you incorporate them into your professional life working in health care? Students are encouraged to concurrently be involved in a community based service organization to provide learning experiences using the Jesuit pedagogical model of experience-reflection-action. Through narratives, readings, and case studies, students will examine these questions using reflection, group interaction, and writing.
