MPPP 650 - Program Evaluation
This course examines key decision-making elements for evaluation of complex projects and programs. Learning objectives for this course include providing students with the tools to analyze and take action to resolve program problems and concerns; critique strengths and weaknesses of evaluations conducted by others; select data sources and data collection and analysis techniques to be used for a program evaluation; and evaluate program risk and develop plans or take action to mitigate the identified risks. Students learn about and utilize qualitative and quantitative tools in order to determine how portfolio managers would make a decision using a trade-off analysis and cost-benefit analysis for complex projects and program decision-making.
