NURS 553 - Nurs Care Vuln Pop Seminar
This seminar challenges students to examine and reflect on professional competencies related to patient advocacy and social justice. Students will analyze social determinants that perpetuate health care inequities.  The course will further develop the student’s ability to analyze contemporary health needs and problems, strategize to resolve recurrent problems, and discuss the impact of professional nursing leadership to improve patient and population health outcomes through interdisciplinary collaboration. The Georgetown Nursing Values Based Health Care Model will serve as a guide in developing nursing leadership interventions to promote the common good.
