SPAN 538 - Exploring Ethnographic Writing
This course is meant to provide graduate students with a general introduction to the problems inherent in writing ethnography, drawing upon a range of styles and genres of ethnographic writing from different time periods, covering different issues in a variety of world areas, and highlighting some of the differences in national anthropologies. Texts will be in both English and Spanish, class discussion will be bilingual. For graduate students only, or by permission of instructor.
