STRT 613 - Risk& Opportunity in Glob Econ
This course will extend the decision-making toolkit you started developing in the Structure of Global Industries (SGI) course. This course will take a deeper dive into subjects touched on in SGI and will introduce new topics as well. We will study in more detail the implications for firms of government policy, focusing on fiscal policy and monetary policy and the related role of the banking system in a number of different country settings. We will study the larger economic forces that shape production, capital flows, interest rates, exchange rates, and other variables that create the global economic landscape.
