THEO 502 - Intro to Pluralism:Theo Persp
This course will study the implications for Christian theology when it is situated in the context of contemporary religious pluralism. Offered from the Christian perspective, it will address the philosophical and theological issues that arise in a religiously pluralistic environment. These will include an historical examination of the Christian disposition towards the other religions, the problem of conflicting truth claims, the nature of salvation in the religions, Christology, religious language, and interreligious dialogue.
