COSC 580 - Advanced Databases
Advanced Database Systems is an introductory graduate course on database systems.  The central aspect of this course is to consider key research themes in database systems, including relational implementation techniques, transaction management, distributed DBMS, parallel DBMS, objects in databases and benchmarking. The class also includes a research project based on the topics covered.
