ECON 417 - Economic Analysis of Law
 This course introduces students to the field of law and economics. Law and economics is the application of microeconomics to perform positive and normative analysis of the law and the legal system. We will focus on five core legal subjects: torts, contracts, property, criminal law, and legal procedure. The course presumes background knowledge of intermediate microeconomics but no background knowledge of law.
