JCIV 282 - Current Issues in US ME Policy
The Middle East is in turmoil: Conflict in Syria and Yemen; conflict between Saudi Arabia and Qatar; generational changes in the Gulf; Iran and Turkey sowing discord; Salafi-jihadis on the march; and more. How should the United States be dealing with the challenges? Is the Middle East relevant to US national security? This course will explore options for US policy.
