MGMT 277 - Imagination & Creativity |
Businesses operate in a competitive global marketplace that judges them against the standards of "more, better, faster." If a business is not doing more, or doing it better, or doing it faster, the chance of it surviving in the competitive global marketplace will become remote. Those companies that not only survive, but also thrive, recognize that to do it "more, better, faster" requires imagination and creativity. The purpose of this course is to help you master the skills of imagination and creativity. Toward that end, we will identify common "blocks" to creativity and innovation in business. In addition, we will upgrade your imagination skills and identify strategies and techniques to enhance your personal and professional creativity. To achieve these objectives will not only require hard work and discipline, but also a renewed appreciation for foolishness and play. 3.000 Credit hours 3.000 Lecture hours 0.000 Lab hours Levels: Undergraduate Schedule Types: Lecture Management Department Course Attributes: Mean Grade is Calculated Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Colleges: McDonough School of Business Must be enrolled in one of the following Majors: Accounting Business Administration Finance Int'l Business Regional Stds International Business Int'l Political Eco Business Marketing Management Operations & Information Mgmt Undeclared Business Must be enrolled in one of the following Classifications: Sophomore Senior Junior Prerequisites: MGMT 201 |
