BADM 748 - Real Estate Development
This course will seek to provide students with an advanced understanding of the process for developing a new real estate investment through a case study of Avalon Bay Communities’AVA First Street multi-family property. The asset is located in the NOMA District of Washington DC. The course will include a number of subjects such as the following: * Market Analysis & Customer Dynamics * Product Design & Cost Estimation * Zoning, Entitlement, Approval and Permitting Process * Financial Feasibility Analysis
