|STRT 557 - Strategies Beyond the Market|
This course focuses on firms' strategies to compete successfully in imperfect markets. It takes the perspective of the firm and its managers and emphasizes that even companies that exemplify market success can fail when confronted by forces in the nonmarket environment. This course will teach students to recognize market imperfections and the resulting opportunities and challenges for strategic success, predict how governments and social groups will respond to market imperfections, and learn how to formulate strategies that build on these responses to improve your company's financial performance.
