Sex, Tattoos and Death Panels? Jewish Views on Contemporary Issues In this course we’ll explore some the most pressing social issues of our day through the lens of Jewish thought, both ancient and new. We’ll explore classic and contemporary Jewish teachings on topics including: The Who, What. Where, When, Why and How of sex. LGBTQI+ and Judaism. When Life Begins and When Life Ends. Tattoos, Body Piercings and Plastic Surgery. This course is meant for all, and will be designed to address the questions and interests of students of all levels of familiarity with Judaism. Everyone is welcome. No prior background or coursework in Judaism necessary.
